About The Lyttle Wonderminds

The Lyttle Wonderminds was founded by Chaniece Lyttle, a mum of three young children, one of whom is autistic. With neurodiversity being part of everyday family life, Chaniece understands how important it is for children and families to feel supported, accepted and understood.

When looking for local support for her own child, Chaniece quickly realised there wasn’t much available nearby. She wanted to create the kind of space she had been searching for, somewhere children could play freely, be themselves, make friends and feel accepted exactly as they are.

That is how The Lyttle Wonderminds began.

Our group is built around kindness, understanding, connection and lived experience. We provide a safe, welcoming space for neurodivergent children and their families, where little minds can shine in their own way.

Our children’s sessions give children the chance to enjoy play, sensory activities, arts and crafts, books, toys, games and friendship in a relaxed and accepting environment.

We also support parents and carers by creating space to chat, share experiences, have a cuppa, build friendships and realise they are not alone on this journey. Parenting or caring for a neurodivergent child can sometimes feel isolating, and we want families to know there is a community here for them.

The Lyttle Wonderminds is growing into a warm, community-based and personal space for everyone who attends our parent/carer and children’s sessions.

We are not medical professionals and do not offer diagnosis or medical advice, but we do offer peer support, lived experience, friendship, understanding and a safe place to belong.

At The Lyttle Wonderminds, every child deserves to feel accepted, every parent and carer deserves to feel supported, and no family should feel alone.
